- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Ate there this evening. Recently renovated with a quaint decor. Clean! Chairs and tables comfortable and solid. Staff... friendly, knowledgeable and went out of their way to help with the menu and choices etc. Food... I had 'Roxanne's Seafood Chowder' small bowl... thick, delicious body with no shortage of haddock, scallops and lobster. Served with a lightly toasted roll and butter. Ask for a twist of lemon to enhance the fish flavor. Main meal... Quesada with a spinach side salad. Quesada shell was toasted to perfection on the grill and served with salsa and sour creme. Side salad was generous and served with a couple of choices of dressing. Impressions: Pictou has a new food hangout. Really good food, reasonably priced.
